Hi there! 🌟 I'm Henrique Dantas, a Brazilian architect-turned-multidisciplinary artist who's ventured far beyond the blueprints of buildings into the boundless realms of animation, illustration, marketing, and UX/UI design.
In the vibrant cosmos known as the Henriqueverse, every pixel tells a story, and every line is a journey. As you scroll through this space, you'll uncover the chronicles of my creative odyssey, where each project has been a step in my quest to not just see the world but to reimagine it.
1. Origins of Creativity
The Big Bang
There is nothing better to introduce my creative journey and myself than a good comic story.
Since the earliest days of childhood sketches and strokes, art has been my sanctuary, a gateway to realms where fantasy soared free and vibrant hues shattered the gray veil of conservative Goiânia in the 90s.
Animation was the window through which little Henriquinho daydreamed, envisioning endless possibilities.
This passion carried me through to university, where I majored in architecture, and on a fate-filled night, a hyperfocus session introduced me to After Effects — my ticket to bringing to life the stories I had always conjured.
Design and animation became not just a profession but an extension of my essence, a way to perpetuate the protection and inspiration that art had always granted me.
Transitioning to São Paulo was more than a change of scenery; it was a catapult into the heart of Brazilian creativity.
An animated homage on Instagram caught the eyes of AKQA, and I found myself embarking on an impromptu overnight journey — a symbolic voyage toward the new and unknown.
Since then, my creative odyssey has seen rapid growth, from early days in a modest agency to important and leadership roles at Publicis and Media Monks. I have even been honored with an award at the Online Journalism Awards and have been shortlisted at Cannes in a relatively short span of time.
With each new challenge, I expanded my cosmos of capabilities, from Motion Design to Art Direction, from UI to UX, all guided by a steadfast principle: art as a vehicle for transformation.
Now, with a portfolio that’s a constellation of diverse triumphs — from award-winning editorial illustrations to groundbreaking UI projects for global titans — I seek to use the same art that once shielded me to touch, inspire, and hopefully, improve the world around me.
The once young Henriquinho is still inside me, safe, knowing that the power of art extends far beyond mere escapism; it is a beacon, an agent of change.

I collaborated with the Dove team to develop a social media campaign for the launch of their Body Serum product.
I assisted the Vans team by generating ideas and executing few campaigns.
During my time with the Domino's team, I primarily focused on creating social media content.
While working with Pringles, I had the opportunity to create fun animations using campaign assets. Additionally, I brainstormed and developed pieces for the brand's social media presence.
I was able to help Chopp Brahma Express in developing pieces for performance and social media formats, as well as providing ideas.
Panasonic was my first global client, back in 2019. I primarily worked as a motion designer for social media.
